Joe,
        There is a terrific program for Usenet groups called "Free Agent",
its Freeware and does all you could want of an offline reader. It picks up
headers and allows responding and saving and all the rest. I use it all the
time for tech groups like alt.graphics.pagemaker and rec.banjo.clawhammer,
etc. I got it from my service provider's FTP site. I'm sure it's available
elsewhere or I could arrange to upload it to you if you're interested. It
isn't a huge program and doesn't take to much HD space...... Bud
