I don't know if they all follow the same formula, but the twoI saw on the French language network of the CBC had the English actor John Hurt as a storyteller and a big shaggy dog (puppet) as the listener. It started out with the story being told to the dog and then would fade to live action with a mix of actors and puppets and wonderful scenery . There are supposedly eleven or twelve separate episodes They were probably made in Henson's English studios. Would appreciate a list of anything else that is available from the Henson canon - old and new. Books and video. There was a retrospective of his life and work on PBS the other night that included some tantalizing snippets from stuff he did before Sesame Street and later stuff that didn't involve the Muppets. I was particularly charmed by a black and white television skit where Kermit eats a series of worms. Please send your replies to puptcript rather than this address, as I pick it up at my working address and really don't want a flood of stuff coming into my home computer. Many thanks. --- Personal replies to: patrick.hall-AT-sasknet.sk.ca (patrick hall) --- List replies to: puptcrit-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu --- Admin commands to: majordomo-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu
