Frank, I think it's great that you are working with 2nd graders and teaching them about ventriloquism.  If we can educate the young to take an interest in this somewhat rare art-form, hopefully it will inspire some young person to continue through adulthood.  My husband and I currently travel all over Ohio doing a Christian vent program.  We both use ventriloquism as a ministry to encourage old and new Christians alike.  My husband started using puppets when he was really young.  He started ventriloquism when he was little and now uses it full time.  It's amazing how ventriloquism can affect lives.
