The puppets are made from a flourescent material so they appear to "glow" during the performance. We have used this form of puppetry to make objects appear to be floating in air. One of our skits used fish puppets, a fisherman and his son. While they sat on a dock fishing the fish seemed to be swimming without the aid of a puppeteer (the puppeteer is usually dressed in black with black gloves and a black hood over their heads so they blend into the darkness). It's a very powerful form of puppetry almost always brings "oooo's" and "aaaahhh's" from the audience. Rick Krogh A die-hard puppeteer!
