        Well, the Phil Collins Theatre where the Famous People Players
perform/rehearse was built for blacklight puppetry. Very neat set-up. The
house lights can switch to blacklight so the performers can take the
puppets out in to the audience. People go crazy; they absolutely love it.
This is especially effective in a number where a stripper pulls off all her
clothes until she's stripped to invisability.

        Funnily enough, every night there's one scene change they can't
seem to get. At the end of the show the puppet "host" (a puppet of a
Toronto DJ) is supposed to be center stage but every time when the lights
come up and the pre-recorded dialogue starts the puppeteers are still
scrambling in the wings to get him out.

        I was suprised by your comment about the UV lights bothering your
eyes. While I haven't stared directly in to them for an extended period of
time, this doesn't seem to be an issue with FPP. Maybe it's just the way
the lights are set.
