Dear Friends,

Groark & I are finally back home after a 5 week tour of the United States.
Our shows were enthusiastically received where ever we went. We even made
the evening news in Cheyenne, Wy. (Groark:"A dog fight makes the news in
Cheyenne!")
We made some very good contacts and hope for an expanded tour next year.

Our spirits were dampened somewhat when we had to re-build the transmission
in our R.V. in Salt Lake City (no small expense!) and 3 days later had to
replace the alternator in Hannibal, MO. Somewhere outside of Franklin, Oh.
we lost the cover of our air conditioner on top. Those things are over $100!
However, I never missed a show, even if I had to drive all night to get there.

I owe a special thanks to my sister-in law Julie Evans who decided, after
our family reunion in Utah, that she'd always wanted to see Cheyenne and
helped me drive there while my wife Marsha took care of the R.V. Once I was
re-united with my family, Julie continued to caravan with us as a back up
driver all the way to Columbus, Oh. where we parted ways.

The weather was very strange. We expected sweltering heat and humidity.
Instead we always had partly cloudy, windy and occassionally stormy weather.
Marsha loved the lower temperatures. A terrible flood hit the Punxsutawney,
Pa. area just before we arrived. My father's childhood home in McGee's
Mills, Pa. was severely damaged. However, we had a great reception from my
long-lost relatives.

Well, I'm glad to be back and glad to be hooked up again to the mailing
list. I hope to hear from some of my "cyber-buddies" soon.

Sincerely,
Randel McGee
