This is my point!!!  For those of you who know Richard's work, he's a great
example of the kind of imaginative and funny and irreverent and loopy stuff
that good Australian creative types are capable of.

I think I've mentioned before that Richard directed me in my first ever
professional show, and he is just like his creations - funny and
ever-so-slightly-eccentric and the best story-teller ever!  Imagine what he
could have done with four years to work on it, the substantial budget, all
those volunteers and seven minutes to fill.  You'd have been blown away!

Maybe I'll write to the organisers for Sydney 2000 and suggest they get
Richard to contribute to the next opening ceremony......  ;-)
