  Boy, quick reply. Thanks. 

  Actually, I do have a contract with them. It spells out thing pretty
plainly in my view. The misunderstand seems to center around what they
consider "consulting". I made a distinct statement at the time I recieved
the check to start construction that any further advice I gave them would be
"consultation" that I would charge for according to the terms in my contract.
