  Ditto on Verna Finly's construction techniques. Although, the copies of
the video our guild purchased, after having her here personally for a
workshop, were not the best. When you are trying to show sewing techniques,
the video has to be very high quality to be able to see the thread and these
were not. But this was several years ago and perhaps she has found a place
to do bettery quality copies.
  But still, I know of no other video that shows such a professional
construction technique. If you get stuck on some details in the video, then
that is where the other PofA guild members will be of great value -
hopefully they may be able to help you through the tough spots. 
  Even if none of them are familiar with Verna's techniques, I am sure you
could find one other experienced person to do it with you. They may enjoy
getting to see Verna's video as well and will want to learn from it.
