I would say that Verna is the cadillac maker of soft puppets.  Every year,
there's a group picture taken at the ventriloquist convention with everyone
who goes.  Then recently, there has been a picture taken of the Verna
puppets only.  I don't have one, but I'd like to purchase one or make one.

A couple of weeks after she sent me the video, she actually called my house
long distance to find out if I had received it and if I had started
construction on one yet.  Darn it, I wasn't home at the time and my son
took the message.  He told her that I had received it and hadn't made one
yet.  I thought that was really over and above for her to do that!  She is
a wonderful person and so talented.

Jeff Dunham, the ventriloquist, uses a Verna puppet for his Peanut
character.  You may have seen Jeff on Jay Leno.  You might check Jeff's
homepage, maybe there's a picture of Peanut on it.....don't remember.....
