Subject: Dallas puppetry


Ax--

These puppets (the thirteen) were stolen the weekend after Thanksgiving.
(Pady's other puppets were lost sometime between last summer (95) and this
past February (96), from what I understand.)  Pady had a nice press feature
and good crowds opening days, and on Sunday morning he went in and found
that someone had cut the strings and taken the figures some time between
Saturday afternoon around 3 pm and Sunday at noon.  Fortunately, he only
missed one show -- Pady is blessed with the ability to build quickly and
well, and the shows continued on schedule beginning the following Friday.

Police appear to have some leads in the investigation, and I'll post more as
I find out.  In the mean time, remember -- it looks like they don't wnat
just your stereo any more <wry g>
