Subject: puppetry at the high school level

Hi! I'm a high school art teacher who is currently engaged in the teaching of
a new drama/multi arts course. We cover mime, masks, puppetry, storytelling
and general theater production. My personal interest in marionettes developed
while producing a performance for a final project in a master's program. I am
currently in a Ph. D. program with a specialization in creative integrated
studies. I hope to elevate my novice puppeteering to a level which will allow
me to use it as a means of communication in delivering my Ph.D. work to other
educators! Whew!
I am very interested in puppeteering for adults. It appears that most
available information is geared toward the elementary kids. I would
appreciate any thoughts, ideas, suggested reading, etc. that might help me
out. Thanks.
