Thanks for the input so far on the dragon.  The shoe idea sounds really
feasible.  I looked for some weird and fancy tennis shoes on the sale rack
today, but now that I think of it, by covering them with the claws, it
wouldn't matter what the shoes look like.  I could even use some old
confortable tennis shoes.

Last night we talked about the dragon on the chat.  Joe Dunfee and Gale
Warshawsky offered some great suggestions too.  There were five of us who
chatted last night.  I so seldom get to chat since I have handbell choir on
Wednesday nights.  Maybe we could have an ADDITIONAL night for those of us
who can't make it on Wednesdays.  What do you think?
