I'm not sure that an overhead projector is the best way to do a shadow 
puppet play - very small for one thing and I think it might be difficult 
to place yourself in a position that doesn't get in the way of the 
audience (although It can be done- a friend of mine and myself used an 
OHP during one of our finayear performances. The thing was we were so 
far back that the resolution of the shadows wasn't that good. In our 
case that didn't matter but it might be important for your performance.) 
Would it not be possible to get hold of a more traditional screen and 
work from behind it? Alternatively you could make one yourself.
