At the time she said she wanted to attach it to her arms and legs so she could dance with it. I said I was only aware of two versions, one was face to face for a couple to dance. The other was side to side for more of a chorus line effect. However, both would have restricted her own movement more than she wanted. She is a good dancer and singer and I ended up recommending that she not attach herself to the puppet in any way. This way she can dance around this puppet and even change the hand she has in the puppet's mouth. But now she still wants to do a dance with the puppet, but I am not certain of the methods of attaching it to her. By the way, both her and the guy puppet are wearing tuxes. The initial idea was simply loops of elastic for a face-to-face version. I initially was hooked up on how to connect their shoes toe-to toe. I thought the puppet's shoes would flop around, but perhaps they shouldn't be connected toe-to-toe, but rather side to side. Actually, she wants to be side-to-side. The one version of this that I saw was with the puppeteer inbetween two puppets. This way they balanced each other. But she has only one puppet. How should this work? If a rod of some sort is attached from one of her legs to a puppet leg, she obviously must keep one leg in front at all times. But I also don't know how to actually do this rod. If I make it a "L" shape I can keep the rod from drooping down. But I don't see a clear way to keep the rod from rotating on her leg. Any ideas?
