With the dancing puppet on her left side - both of them facing the audience, you could attach the left leg of the puppet to her left leg with a bent rod that bends back around the puppets right leg. And the right legs could have a bent rod that bends around the person's left leg either in front or behind. I've not tried it but it's worth considering. In this example PL = Puppet Left PR = Puppet right - DL= Dancer Left DR Dancer Right __________ | | PL PR DL DR |________| Cross over and range of motion seems like an issue to work out.
