Hello,

For all of you eye people out there, have you considered using styrofoam
balls. I used these on some broom puppets and fastened them on with a coat
hanger. I folded the coat hanger into a "v" and run it directly through the
styrofoam ball. I then glued a wiggly eye onto the ball over the coat
hanger. I drilled holes in the broom and ran the coat hanger through it
fastening it on.

I just joined this list and have only caught the end of this line (the last
two days) of messages. What are these eyes needed for?

Also, I have just started my puppet team (no name yet) and work with an
inner cities ministry program once a month with puppets. I have made 5
puppets and I have yet to put hair on two of them. I used One-Way Street's
puppet patterns and did not like their hair idea. I made one female puppet
with long yellow yarn hair and do not really like it.

My question: How can this be done? I am looking for ideas or possibly
instructions on doing different styles of hair. Also, I am looking for
patterns of all types of puppets, including animal, monsters, etc.

Thanks,

In Service for Christ,
Roy Slagle
