Which would have by-passed the "religious" questions and avoided the
possibility of any offense or a legitimate accusation of "evangelism", no ?
 While you are quite correct that this is a puppet list and this was a
puppet play, it must have been also blatantly "religious" and therefore
only of interest TO religious puppeteers, I wouldn't know, I didn't read
it, just deleted, but I did think it an inappropriate posting.

Perhaps it would have been wiser to ask who might be interested and to only
"share" with those that expressed a specific interest, no ?  This isn't a
"religious puppetry" forum is it ?  If so, I've been laboring under a
delusion !  

If you felt that what he said was "belittling", perhaps you should
re-examine your "motives" for posting it in full here in the first place.
"Evangelism" really isn't appropriate here, is it ?
