Yep,  More precise measurements are

4.125" diameter of each eye cut out
6.125" distance between center of eyes.

Over all distance from outside of eye holes approx  - 10-3/8"

My painted Book eyes have the pupils slightly crossed for cuteness and
focus, but if you are going to move them left and right I would center it
exactly.  

 Also remember that this is a sculptured piece and does not have exactness
anywhere on it.  I'm an artist not an engineer.  The eyeholes are slightly
out of round I suppose and things may be asymetrical. But it will work. 

I'd suggest that you wait to get the puppet before getting to deep into your
fixtures.  It could be difficult if there is a communication problem now, if
you build everything in advance.
