you might check out the top-of -the-line puppets from One WayStreet. Their
customations. They have an excelent rod attachment system. Completely
hidden when removed and very strong! The rod is a strong spring steel with
wooden handle. The attachment can move the wrist also to give lifelike hand
movement.
