From: Jimsan777-AT-aol.com Date: Sun, 15 Jun 1997 21:43:41 -0400 (EDT) Subject: Puppet making videos Dear Puppet Makers, especially teachers and those of you starting out: We have two half-hour puppet-making videos available: "Introduction to Puppet Making," is basically a demo showing many different types of puppets and how they are made and used. I've had many educators show this one to their elementary students to get them excited about puppet making...and am told many go at it alone based on what they viewed. Our newest has just been released. It is the second in our series, "Kids Make Puppets" and is subtittled, "Scarf Marionettes". We show about 10 ways of using the scarves to make them into various characters, using items found around the home...fibre fill, styro balls, ball fringe, pennies, coat hangers, kite string, etc. I've used this video a great deal for teacher workshops. Neither of these are designed for professional puppeteers, but are perfect for younger puppeteer-wanna-bees or neophytes. I also have an older video that was shot in our garage some years ago and has been shown at puppet fests from time to time...."How to cast with Neoprene." If anyone is interested in that one, please email me: Jimgamble-AT-aol.com. orr fax an order to us at: 310-541-2195. Each of the videos are $14.95. Yep, we take M/C and Visa. Add CA tax, if applicable and postage/handling $3 for one or two videos, $5 for three to five videos: (We also have "Peter and the Wolf," "Carnival of the Animals," "Nutcracker," "Peer Gynt," "Peter Cottontail." Next week, we shoot, "Hansel and Gretel," and "The Night BEARfore Christmas."
