Cellulose insulation is normally nothing more than newspaper that has 
been run through a hammermill and to which a fire retardant chemical has 
been added.  Normally the fire retardants are borax / borate compounds.  
I don't know what effect they would have on the mix or your health.  It 
sounds to me like the red rosin paper is a much better route to go.
