Hi David and all,

You've just about summed up the Les Poupee
experience David. I have two of the Schafton showgirls in my collection
and they are wonderful but Heavy!
If my memory serves me correctly, the Les Poupees showgirl is based upon
FRANK PARIS'S basic showgirl design. I have to admit though, that I'm
partial to TONY URBANO'S Les Poupees figures....... masterpieces of
stylization, but then all his work in excellent.
If you want to talk about HEAVY puppets, pick
up one of SKY HIGHCHIEF'S marionettes.
His Frank Paris and Les Poupees reproductions
were cast in nearly SOLID Manikin Rubber..and
make the weight of dental acrylic feel like styrofoam!

                                                      Peace,
                                                 Steve Weber
