I love Northern Calif too, but we have the same cool breezes here in the
local mountains, just 2 hours drive from my beach house to my mountain cabin.
 And Oxnard is not LA.  In Palos Verdes, the temperature rarely exceeds 80
degrees!!  Gotta live near the ocean.  JimGamble
