Subject: Kasperle-style hand puppets

The "in" type of puppet today seems to be the foam--and-plush muppet style.
Is anyone making solid Kasperle-style puppets any more? I've been hoping to
locate sources (hopefully on the web) of old-style hand puppets. Not
interested in animals or cute toys, but a selection of characters - a stock
company if you will - which can be played in a variety of roles. Would also be
interested in contacting individuals who are VERY GOOD at building this style
of puppet from scratch and have photos available.
