Subject: PUPT: PVC pipe as main support for parade puppets

I used one and one-half diameter PVC pipe for a parade puppet and just 
about lost a puppeteer when a sudden gust of wind snapped the pipe and cut 
the puppeteer's throat -- fortunately not a serious cut -- but I'm queezy 
about uing PVC pipe after that.
