You may have missed my earlier post where I said it was 
probably made in Sweden . . . .used for suitcases a long time 
ago, and now I suppose largely superceded by nylons and similiar.
Good luck in the New Year in your search . . ask your local 
suitcase(travel goods)manufacturer . .
