I actually don't use any glue on the PVC pipe itself. In fact, I don't
stick anything to the pipe. (except duct tape to keep the joints together!)
instead, I sew both peices on the curtian about 6 inches apart - the fuzzy
piece at the top of the curtian, and the hooks about 6 inches down to make
a loop of the cutain fabric as it goes over the top the of stage bar. We
can then gather it together or spread it apart. We have never had it come
off. Although it takes a few minutes to put up, tear down is a breeze! We
have also thought of putting some on the bottom for windy days.
