Subject: PUPT: Plastic wood and Neoprene


If the neoprene is reasonably non-flexible, you can cover it, and re-sculpt
with plastic wood (either the acetone based or the water based) as long as you
keep the plastic wood build up relatively thin.  I've had neoprene casts
(heads, feet, hands, etc. ) used constantly since 1975 with no sign of
deterioration.  Of course, if you leave it outside as a lawn ornament with no
UV protective coating, it will break down sooner.  Jim Gamble
