I need your ideas and tips on anything related to
transformation marionettes. I am fascinated by these
and have built most every other trick marionette but
these. I just worked out a sure fire flip over marionette
this morning. What I want to build this year is a Grand
Turk or others. I think the Grand Turk that turns into a
Mother and 4 children is fine. Anyway........I'm also looking
for ideas that you may know about such as a windmill turning
into a woman(like the pic in the Puppetry Journal). Any idea
you have on any type of transformation marionette would be
very appreciated (no matter how strange). Also any idea on
control arrangement would be greatly appreciated. I have the
Nelson and Hayes book and have watched Jim Gamble's video
on trick puppets. Anything you have seen in the past that just
astounded you would be neat to hear about. My whole interest
in trick marionettes resulted from watching Howard Mitchell years
ago do a pirate that changed into children. Thank you for your
input. Anyone having a trick marionette like the ones above....I
have some neat items you may want to swap with.
