Subject: Re: PUPT: "Marionette Mouth Control"

Noticed some talk about marionette mouth controls, awhile back. Have carved
a couple of dozen marionettes, (absolutely fascinated by the process)...but
have yet to articulate a mouth or eyes. I would like to try, but confess
the diagrams I've seen (mostly Fraser) are daunting. Especially since I
carve my heads (hands and feet from basswood). Surely size is also a
consideration (carved one series of 24-28 inch puppets and this last series
a smaller 18-20inch group. Have tried other materials for the head, but
really enjoy the wood carving process, and strength of the finished
puppet.Any ideas or suggestions...thanks.TT
