We were casting all of our hands out of neoprene and had a few problems with finger breakage and removal of the mold seams on smaller hands. Peter and I have both gone back to carving them out of wood. Another benefit of carving is that it is really relaxing! We sit in the shop with NPR on the radio and get into this "Zen Woodcarving" thing that's almost therapeutic. I'd encourage anyone who's willing to try woodcarving. Bil Baird said in his book that "woodcarving is a balm for the soul". Best, David J.
