My alma mater, U. Maine, is practically synonymous with "The Maine Stein
Song" (at least for people from Maine and others with a thirst for
minutiae). When I was there in the early 70s, the Gays and Lesbians on
campus started a very active organization called "The Wilde Stein Club"-
after the much admired Oscar and Gertrude. It offended many and STILL
makes me laugh!

And Preston, you know I totally agree with you about materials, but
then, we both came out of theatre programs. And let us not forget that
Monsieur Genty has ALSO gotten more support from the French Gouvernement
than you and I combined are likely to make in a lifetime.
