I am designing a "Waldo" type contoller, i.e., using a linear/rotary potentiometer system to input voltages to a 555 timer circuit which converts the voltages to the proper ms pulses for servo control of the cables. It is possible to build such a system with very little machining (it might not look as pretty as The Creature Shop's work, but that's life). This is just for my own amusement. I am not working with any theatre or movie or television group. I just like building models, electronics and that sort of thing, but there is very little out there as far as details relating to cable control. I've located two videos that I'm going to purchase since that's all I've found so far. --- Personal replies to: SOMMEB-AT-mail.modot.state.mo.us --- List replies to: puptcrit-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu --- Admin commands to: majordomo-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu
