I photograph all of my own dolls and puppets and I use a roll of
photographers paper, but another idea is mat board from a custom framing
shop (I used to manage one <g>). A standard size piece of mat board is
32x40 in an unlimited choice of colors or you can get an oversized piece
40x60 which is not available in as many colors but still a nice array. A
standard sheet will cost you approx. $5-$6 and you can just bend it to
produce a seamless look. Hope this helps!  :)  -Jill H.
