The shows will take place in the well-known theatre-bar the Pink Pony. (178 Ludlow Street at Houston Street) Providence resident Adam G. Gertsacov, ringmaster, psycho-entomologist, and proprietor of the show, will be on hand to lead the fleas through their stunts, which will include a chariot race, a tightwire dance, and a death defying finale. He will also recite some well known flea poetry (also known as flea verse) and give audience members a brief yet informative history of fleas. The Pure Pop Festival is a curated festival on the Lower East Side of Manhattan that will bring over 60 shows from all over the world to venues on the Lower East Side. The Festival is produced by Todo con Nada, a theatre company that is known as the "Lincoln Center of Off-Off Broadway Theatre" The Acme Miniature Circus is a Victorian style flea circus that has delighted audiences from Boston to Brazil.
