Hi All

I was wondering if anyone elae have tried out the latex type of wood
putty. I have sever ashma and can not work with most wood putties because
the acetone used in them. So when I saw the latex type I thought that I
would give it a try.

I tried it in a plaster mold and it did not dry well in two days so gave
up on that, but then decided to give it a try as an overlay. I used a
sytrofoam egg for a base and then pressed the wod putty into 1/4 inche thick
pieces, this seems to work well. It sand easy but does put out a fine powder
when sanding so I wear a dust mask.

Was just wondering if any one else has used this and what results they
have had.

Another product I have heard of but have not tried is a Water Based
wood putty by famowood they have a web site at
http://www.benson-shaw.com/famowood.htm has any one tried this.
