my, how helpful you aren't. heavy trip? i don't think so. simple request
for help and a bit concerned that no one replied, more like. so you don't
live near him. if you have used a videographer in the past, perhaps you
could say where you found them - yellow pages, internet, friends'
recommendation (woops, not the last one, i would guess by your reply you
wouldn't stoop to ask for help or advice) and offer any other helpful
advice.
 as for myself i have not used a videographer for this and was interested
in the opinions on where to find a good one, things to look out for to keep
me from selecting a bad one, and other tidbits to file away for the time
when i do need one. i do know that the "partner/spouse" taping you will not
usually result in the kind of video you want to send to prospective clients
- unless you have some really nice equipment and a truely talented
"partner/spouse". perhaps ken might try cultivating a friendship with one
of the cameramen at a local tv station. they might be interested enough to
do it themself or lead you to someone who is experienced in getting good
action and crowd shots to promote your work.
