Subject: PUPT: HELP?

Date sent: 28-NOV-1999 14:12:20

A friend emailed me with a request to help her identify some puppets
characters and the story from which they come. Nothing rings a bell here
so am putting the question up to the group. Here is the description I was
given:

(She was given) papier mache heads . . . from the 50s . . . from a
traditional German story (which?). The characters are a young girl, her
father, several "bad guys", a skull and an alligator. There is something
about the characters "giving it away" (not too sure what "it" is.)

Thanks for any assistance.
