Best stock of puppets in any store in NYC that I know of is Dinosaur Hill
on East 9th Street between 2nd and 1st Aves (right next door to Veselka's).
Another is The Enchanted Forested in SoHo, but I don't know the adress to
that one. Several other stores  sell Indonesian or Thai puppets, but pretty
overpriced.
