I think you should make a title that sounds a bit pretentious and does not
contain puns -seriously.  Something like "Comprehensive Study of the Art of
Puppetry", but that may be too long.  "The Lost Art of Puppetry", something
along these lines.  By using words/phrases such as "The Lost Art" and
"Comprehensive Study", the context of the word "puppetry" anything but its
usual misunderstanding as a medium purely used to entertain children and
brings it into the light of something that seems to have more significance
than it is generally given.
Some other ideas:
"Historical Perspective of Puppetry"
"Puppetry: The Object in Motion"
"Puppetry in Culture, Art and Entertainment"
