Dear Steve,
Wow, I wasnt aware of this. This is really sad news. Street performing is 
what makes New York City so special. Oh well, having left the city a few 
years back, so much has changed, the things that made the new york so great 
and different.
I remember when we both street performed in the early 80's on 6th avenue in 
the village,  mesmerizing crowds,  trying to hear our music over the sound of 
buses.
Police arresting us for noise pollution under the quality of life law. That 
was a great time, i really miss it!
what will the millenium bring for street performers?
