It costs me about $15 to have something converted from NTSC to PAL format to send to him or from PAL to NTSC so I can view what he sends me. Depending on what you have or how often you need to do this it can be pricey. I hear that there are VCR's which can view either with the flip of a switch. I understand that the tape is the same on either; it's the way the material is stored on the tape that changes.
