Hi Murvin,

Here's some info on L.A. - I'm sure there's more, this is what I can easily
find in my copy of Puppet Life, the Los Angeles Guild of Puppetry bimonthly
publication...

Bob Baker - The Nutcracker - 213/250-9995 - show runs daily (except Mondays)
through January. call for reservations...

There's an exhibit of Bob Baker's puppets as displayed by Alan Cook at the
Fine Arts Bldg. in downtown L.A. (just minutes from Bob's therater!) 811
W. 7th St. downtown (the guild was just at both of the above for our Dec.
mtg. yesterday - the show was lovely and the exhibit is quite wonderful.
The fine arts bdg is an unknown treasure in downtown L.A. - built in the
20's with an abundance of handwork in the foyer/lobby.)

Marvin & Margaret Present Dead Poet's Shakespeare - (Mauri Bernstein &
Victor Isaac) - Sundays at 4pm and Mondays at 8pm - through December.

I'm quite sure Steven Meltzer has a holiday show running - his phone # is
310/656-0483 or e-mail him at smpuppets-AT-aol.com

Rene will be performing in San Diego on weekends, but I don't have more info
on this right now. I can find out more tomorrow.

Hope this helps...

Best wishes,
Maria
