Managing Director, MUM PUPPETTHEATRE
Mum Puppettheatre, a healthy 15-year old theatre company in Old City,
Philadelphia, seeks a Managing Director to work with the Artistic Director
to lead 4 full-time and 2 part-time staff members and a budget of $325,000
in a year-old 85-seat theatre.

We produce a 5-show season of original movement-based theatre, strong
education and professional training programs as well as national and
international touring.

The Managing Director is primarily responsible for the financial operation
and growth of Mum Puppettheatre and also deals with the public, working
with the Board of Directors, funders, audience and volunteers.

The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree or better, be
familiar with accounting systems and be able to create, understand and
explain financial statements; negotiate terms and prices and possess
excellent communication skills.

Three years experience in the performing arts required; non-profit
experience preferred. Previous business manager experience in theatre
helpful but not necessary.

This position reports to the Board of Directors. Salary in mid 20's with
benefits.
