Mibu,

I presume you're familiar with Blood from a Turnip and Perishable
Theatre in your own little town? If not, go introduce yourself.

In July, go to the Regional Festival which will be held at Stonehill
College in Easton, MA--

http://www.puppeteers.org/festivals/ne-midatl.htm

There will be 11 performances there from all over the Northeast, as well
as a swell company from Portland, OR. Talk to as many people as you can
there. Going to work for other puppet companies for a while to learn the
ins and outs of the business can be really valuable. Even doing an
internship with an established artist or company can be great-- not only
for what you learn, but for the connections you'll make.

As far as the "art" part goes . . . well, if you wen to RISD I guess you
can already do that.

Courage!

Andrew
