The Great Lakes Regional Puppetry Festival 2000 is just a month away --
in case you haven't already registered.

>From giant parade puppets to tiny figures in toy theatres there will be
performances and workshops for every interest and level of experience.
Of special note will be performances by the Saigon Water Puppets, David
Simpich's Marionettes, Robert Faust's Mask Theatre (for those of you who
said you wanted more on acting with masks), Nancy Sanders, Polaris
Puppet Theatre, Tim Reed of Reed Marionettes with his electronic
puppets, The Hunter Marionettes and Robert Popineau.

Robert Poulter, "The Titan of Toy Theatre Artists" will perform new
shows and is offering a work through workskhop for those who want to
learn his dynamic method.
