Subject: PUPT: seeking puppetry expertise

Greetings,

I am a journalism student at Columbia University hoping to write an
article on puppetry, particularly in New York City. I'm new to the
field but am very intrigued and have been reading a lot about how it's a
"hot new art form" and is undergoing a resurgence of sorts. I'm curious

to know how puppeteers feel about this characterization and whether or
not you are reaping benefits from renewed interest in the art form.

If anyone would be willing to be interviewed or could point my in a
direction of particular interest, I would greatly appreciate it.

Regards,
Sarah
