    PuppetSLAM/Boston presents its last event of the 2nd Millenium or 
Saturday, Nov. 18th, 8 PM at the Puppet Showplace in Brookline  MA. Call 
(617) 731-6400 for reservations with MC or Visa.
   Performers from Rhode Island and Connecticut are coming in, including Ken 
Berman, Heidi Cooper, Deborah Hertzberg, Cathy McCullough, Ann Msritz, Beth 
Nixon, and Jeremy Woodward plus special musical guest, Dirk Van Pelt.  Local 
talent includes Caleb Fullam, Will Stackman, Carl Weiting, and 
Paul-Vincent-Davis.  It's a full evening; there will be coffee.
    A number of puppeteers will be presenting work continuing projects begun 
at the National Puppetry Conference last June or premiered at other venues, 
such as Blood from a Turmip, which has an event at the Perishable Theatre in 
Providence the night before.
   Additional Boston SLAMS are planned for the weekend before Valentine's 
Day  (Puppet Love?) and for the evening of the National Day of Puppetry in 
April (Environmentalists welcome, but no GMOs). For details & directions
