Apologies to the list if this seems too far off topic, although prior
restraint, rating and classification are currently very popular forms of
censorship today. Enemies to all artistic expression I would submit.

Regarding Ms. Gore

A short personal bit. Years ago my company did a show involving giant puppets,
small puppets and live actors regarding the economics, politics and use of
energy. We performed at a lot of public events throughout the area. In our
hometown (Milwaukee) the local electric power monopoly would call up sponsors
who had booked the show and attempt to get them to cancel. In Illinois a state
agency threatened to pull funding from several energy fairs if were were
booked. Once we were hired to play the show at a private party that some quite
well to do folks (who happened to like our work) who had invited scores of
their friends and neighbors to have dinner and see the show at a posh country
club. After the show a heated difference of opinion on energy policy erupted
into a fist fight by two corporate CEO types. Interesting times
